Tried take out once and we don't like the food at all. Tried dine in again to see if anything changes. Ummm i wouldn't say it is that authentic taste. It can be a backup option. The price is quite reasonable though. The food hygiene rating is 3 better than I thought.
I had the hot pot with my friends in here. We were four people and wanted to eat some seafood so we chose the £35 per person. You could choose anything from the list. Very adorabel~remind it has a time limit.
This is my go-to restaurant - absolutely love it here! It looks unassuming from the outside, but has an excellent menu with a great variety including both traditional hotpot and very authentic dishes. Reasonable prices too. Homely atmosphere and a big bottle of tap water is always provided which I really appreciate. Easy to book a table in advance (which you definitely need to do at weekends to avoid disappointment).
I even dropped/left my ID card at the restaurant one evening, and when I called the next day they still had it safe for me. Thank you and I will be returning soon!
I came here for a buffet twice and found it very delicious! I like the beef and lamb slices. It is fresh and a good portion for shabu. The service is good depending on how busy the restaurant is.

The place is authentic and lots of choice. Really satisfies any food cravings, esp for spicy food. Served extremely fast.

Good service and great food. That kind of hot pot heated by using charcoal is cool, cooking the meat in a better way. Packed of people going there even on Monday evening and thats not a suprise.
The price for all-you-can-eat was reasonable, and the ingredients were fresh. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they even offered charcoal hotpot, which I had previously only experienced in China.
As a big fan of offal, including beef tripe, goose intestines, and cow aorta, I was pleased to see that they had it all on the menu, and they got it right in terms of flavor and texture.
The only downside was the tomato soup, which tasted somewhat artificial. However, the numbingly spicy soup was awesome, and definitely worth trying.
I heard that their Sichuan food is also quite good. I didn't get a chance to try it this time, but I will definitely be coming back to give it a taste.
All you can eat Beijing style hotpot for £70 for 2 people(excluding drinks), recommend the fresh lamb slices.
Not bad but when they top up the soup, they use just water so the broth does not get stronger over time, which is a shame.
