Mr Barrell proved to be not just an excellent solicitor but also a really empathic person. Unlike others, he actually spends time in listening carefully your case, explaining how to proceed and what type of outcomes you could be facing. He is clearly very experienced,competent, reassuring and he has a great sense of humour! One of the things that I have mostly appreciated is his directness and the ability to explain the law in simple words. Highly recommended!
We had a bizarre experience. Contacted them regarding Commissioner of Oaths work which they advertise. Emailed what we needed done and told to come in for an appointment. Rushed home from work. Greeted by a huffing lady telling us she's busy. Half of the work not done because they didn't have the time and didn't understand what they needed to do. Totally hopeless and needless to say won't recommend or return !! We are yet to find a professional and competent solicitors firm in Horley.
Very disappointed that no where on the paperwork or was I told Mark doesn't deal with Coventry building society. Even though £( was spent on off official copies they still decided to take it from us. When they should of refunded us full amount considering its not our fault but there's for not listing who they deal with.
I have used Mark Barrel over the last 25 years and Mark has always handled my affairs with the utmost professionalism and am currently asking him to deal with a complex transaction in relation to gifting equity and Im pleased to say he has grasped this quickly and i look forward to having this issue finalized to complete satisfaction
