Food has always been great, however I returned today to find some of the items on menu including the large breakfast had increased by a whopping £3.
Almost a 40% increase.
£12 is a lot for a breakfast in a cafe setting. Sadly won't be returning.
We were searching for a place to get a cooked breakfast, and came across Maggie's Cafe.
We each ordered a breakfast, the Mag's breakfast was huge and was absolutely lovely. Yum!
Two of us ordered the strawberry milkshake which was absolutely delicious as well.
It's inside the market, quiet, and away from the busy streets. Honest cooking and absolutely scrumptious food
First time we found this lovely place to eat plenty of room,near toilets,good wholesome food and no music in the back ground,shame not many people know its there,great for babies and children.nice butchers and sweetshop nearby as well. Definitely recommend, will definitely go often now.
I love coming here to see the girls everyone is so friendly it's a nice place to eat while having a nice chatter with the girls.. They all work so hard at what they do cooking fresh and keeping up with orders.. Thank you.
Just had the turkey chips and stuffing meal with my sister, the only thing missing was bread too mop up the gravy. It was well worth it x
Myself and my daughter (11) went there for breakfast, very friendly staff and very accommodating for kids. Lovely atmosphere and busy. All you have to do is mention to the staff any changes you would like and they sort it ????
Never order from maggies cafe cwmbran!!!
Cost me £38 for 2 cook dinners
Didn't even come with gravy
And everything on the plate was frozen foods
Was like chewing cardboard stuck on the back of your throat
Rang up and complained and all they offered was free deserts sent straight out
Over 1 hour later still no desert
Rang them to ask Where's my deserts and even said everything on my dinner then was frozen foods wasn't it?
For them to answer back with not quite everything
ONE MASSIVE RIP OFF!!!
Me and my brother came here for a breakfast today, 2 tables that ordered after us got served before us, a table of 4 and table of 2, even the kid that served us looked over at us a few times see we were waiting felt like it was almost by purpose, Until half hour later the nice boss lady asked if we were waiting apologised, then made our food. The place was alright years ago. Never again
