They do the most amazing battered sausages! Honestly tastes like tortilla chips, lovely with some salt and vinegar
Called in at 4.30 pm on a weds, everything was fresh, the chips were just finishing when we ordered!
All the ladies behind the counter work friendly and efficiently.
The portions are generous, and prices are reasonable, we paid £16 for small chips with bitesize fish, haddock and chips, steak pie and chips, a jumbo sausage, a large pot of gravy and a small pot of spicy curry sauce!
We called at 7.30 as driving through and had read the great reviews on Google .
We were both hungry but as we walked in the staff were very unfriendly and looked put out we were there.
We were told there was only chips as closing soon...they didn't close until 8.30 !!!
The chips weren't fresh and very oily ...I had an upset stomach all night !!!
Absolutely highly recommend absolutely lovely home cooked chippy food and the chicken curry is to die for very polite staff

Lovely traditional fish and chip shop. Had haddock, chips and mushy peas, the fish was cooked really well and some of the nicest mushy peas I've had from a takeaway. Recommended.
