Me and my dad went to this restaurant after swimming in the Gourock Outdoor Pool and the line was quite long but went by pretty quickly but when we came in it was so busy. We sat down in a table for two and I got a hot chocolate and my dad San Pellegrino blood orange flavour, we also ordered our food at the same time, I got the Parma Ham Ciabatta and my dad got the Spaghetti Aglio. Our drinks came very quickly and my hot chocolate was phenomenal I drank it immediately and my dads drink was as good as a normal San Pellegrino. The food came 45 minutes later which is atrocious as people who came after us got their food before us and they already had left but the food was tasty. My panini was very good but it wasn’t easy to chew of the meat and my dads pasta was fresh and a little bit aldante which he liked, it was all freshly prepared, lots of garlic and oil and also alot more chili than he expected. The atmosphere was great and the music was too.
Overall it was very good except the service was slow.
Food was nice. That's the only real plus for me. General service wasn't the best. I felt the young lady serving was under pressure and didn't seem to be getting much support.
Reviews were not trustworthy.
Disappointing visit to MadeinItaly. Pasta was undercooked n cheese bland. Second order request for 'extra spicy' cajun pasta dish was ignored. The chicken was tasty but the sauce was not. We didn't stay for coffee & cake due to child coughing over the pastries behind the counter. Service was adequate although cash wasn't accepted as till had no change.
Won't travel for 2 hours again to this place or pay heed to reviews.
One of the best pizza I've had, very authentic. Ravioli really nice and tomatoes are just perfect. Will be back.
Lovely friendly place, great range of cakes and pizzas, best of all dog friendly. Highly recommended.
The coffee here is fantastic with the espresso and macchiato being particularly strong with flavour.
Staff are great and it has a very family feel almost like sitting in a small Italian village.

Lovely food, lovely clean shop, children loved the real Italian pizza and cake. Us adults enjoyed Bruschetta. Lovely family. Good luck. We'll visit again next time we are in Gourock.
friendly staff. warm atmosphere. bruschetta was insanely delicious like seriously heavenly. staff were so accommodating of my dietary requests (vegan) and pointed out my options. defo coming back!!! ❤️????????????
