I ordered a birthday cake for my grandson at short notice and was told it wasn't a problem. I wanted a picture of a tractor put on the cake as my grandson is tractor mad ????. He was absolutely delighted with it, as was I. The price was very reasonable considering the size and the fact it was fully iced and had the tractor printed onto it. And the important part? It was absolutely delicious! I will definitely recommend Mackey's to my family and friends. Also, the items on display in the bakery were mouthwatering!
Baked goods do not reach their best before date without spoiling.
Ordered a birthday cake here at end of Aug. They got age wrong and it was themed with items which weren’t requested. The number and items were removed with a knife leaving the top damaged in four places. Was told it was the best that could be done. Was offered a £10 refund of the £38 I had paid.I didn’t accept the cake as was not suitable to give to anyone at any price. Was given a refund. Very disappointing particularly the lack of any apology.

Outside catering for 80 people.. delivered on time..food was 100% nice size scones.. lovely filling in sandwiches..well impressed ????
Always great bread and cakes. Staff are friendly, great service and delicious products. We always enjoy their wheaten bread and their big thin pancakes, even if they are not as big as they used to be lol. (everywhere is the same these days) They also have a small cafe serving coffee and tea and lunches, worth a try. Certainly recommended Mackeys.
I've been going to Mackeys for years just for pastries and traybakes, but finally tried the sit-in cafe for breakfast and WOW, it was incredible!! The prices are really competitive and the coffee is great! I had the cooked breakfast which had egg, sausage, bacon, fried wheaten, pancake, Soda bread and potato bread. It was amazing!! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend it for a nice wee place in Lisburn!!
