I’ve been bringing my (old!) golf to MJB motors for MOTs and checks for the past two years and the service has always been quick and reasonably priced. As others have said, Mark doesn’t upsell unnecessarily and has inspected my car without charge (when work was not required). Highly recommend.
I cannot praise Martin and MJB motors highly enough.
Martin had been recommended to me by a friend and was very professional and helpful and gave me a great deal on my car. He took me through the whole procedure and the money was in my account instantly. Especially grateful to Harrison for dropping me off at the station afterwards. He is going to be a great asset to the business.

I went to this place when I was living in brighton as a student. Seemed like nice guys, but they charged me over £100 just for an MOT. There was nothing else wrong with the car, and they didn’t mention having to fix anything else. They took advantage of the fact that I was a young girl who probably didn’t know how much an MOT costs, I do not recommend going here.
Mark is skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Very glad to have found him.

I've been bringing my car here for about 6-7 years for its' MOT and occasionally a service and repairs. Always first class service. As others have said there is no sales pitch to get unnecessary work done. All the work that does need doing is done well, in good time and for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
After multiple visits to this garage I trust that Mark will give me honest advice and he won’t recommend work that is not necessary. The work that he has done is also reasonably priced and done quickly.

Been taking my car here for a couple of years. Always found the prices reasonable and have had no unnecessary work performed or suggested. Was expecting the worse this MOT time, and only some suspension arms (I think that's what they were) needed changing. He even showed me the old ones from the car, (I'd arrived unexpected BTW) and it drives so smooth now without its rattle.
He may seem a little relaxed in his chair when you enter the premises (previous complaint here), but after chatting to him he was really helpful. Be interesting to see if he was right about their Air con as it may have saved them quite a bit of cash. If its leaking water and not overheating its probably aircon.
