Travelled down to Cornwall from Scotland for a week long holiday with my family, Just as we got near Plymouth the engine management light came on and there was a noticeable drop in performance of the car. Knowing that I had a return trip up the motorway I didn’t want to chance just leaving it and hoping for the best so phoned M Clark’s Motors nearby where I was staying who took my car in the next day, ran diagnostics and repaired the fault it had. 1st class service and very reasonably priced also very grateful that he took the car in so quick which has allowed me and my family to enjoy the rest of our holiday. Highly recommend this garage.
We had come to Looe on holiday, and with 2 days left, the brake caliper decided to break. They fit us in the next day (after calling at 5.30pm the night before) despite being very busy and charged a very reasonable price to resolve the issue. They were very thorough, not just fixing the problem brake but also installing pads on the other rear side so they provide an even level of friction. They also tested the brakes on MOT machine to ensure all working correctly! Amazing service - would give more stars if I could.
My boyfriend was struggling to find a mechanic during the weekend as his car just stopped working. Luckily Mark was very accommodating and saw his car on such a short notice. He did an impeccable work. Thank you so much for such a great job. Will definitely use his service again.
On holiday, wiper fell off. Went to the garage. Very helpful and trusting. Gave me 2 different wipers to try out on my van on trust. My van was a few miles away outside Polperro in fog so couldn’t be driven. One fitted, I came back and paid . Great old school mechanic who knows his stuff. Thanks for the trusting approach! For local people this place is a real asset. I would definitely recommend.

I came in for a full service beginning of February, few days ago i broke down on a motorway, faulty clutch snapped the master cylinder. Not even a month after the full service was performed. The signs of faulty clutch were there for ages before the service as my 1st, 2nd and reverse gear were not easy to get into, but i don't have much of a knowledge about car mechanics, so i trusted they will pick up on it if it was a concern.
Was given the car back without any warnings, so off i went.
Now after the breakdown i spoke to the owner over the phone, asked if the clutch was checked at all, he said that it was, but after i told him about breaking down his response was that 'they don't check the engine, part of which is the clutch, because it would cost them too much and they wouldn't have any business'. If you are a complete noob like me, you just google if clutch check is part of a full service check, and yes, yes it is.
Anywhere else, but here apparently.
Also the filters are 'only changed if needed'. My rear window wiper is absolutely rubbish, not a note of that, and had a warning from my MOT in August about my rear tyre having a slash on it, but not needing replacement. That wasn't mentioned either on this service even though they 'have checked those'.
Full service was £170 something, which might be slightly cheaper than elsewhere, but i'd rather pay the extra £30-40.
Please do better, some people might not be lucky enough to get into a safe place in this sort of a breakdown.
EDIT after your response, please see attached picture, whomever i spoke to then failed to pass it onto you. If clutch was checked i wouldn't have had to mention it anyway, would i? Terms i used in my review should be understandable to you as that's what was handed over by the AA mechanics.

Mark & the team are excellent. They’ve serviced & MOT my Fiesta since I’ve moved to Looe a few years ago. They immediately filled me with confidence & I would highly recommend getting your car serviced there.
I’m not local to Looe, despite this he managed to book me in really quickly, had my brakes fixed within a few hours. Really good prices and quality parts, with advice on what to do. Very courteous and helpful. Would highly recommend.
