Super little tearoom and deli and I'd recommend a visit. We stopped here for lunch on a recent Saturday and loved it. The cakes and pastries available looked really good. It's a tiny little tearoom that can seat 14 - so be prepared to share a table, and booking a reservation is recommended. The staff are friendly and helpful - even going the extra mile to find out and let me know the name of a delicious cheese that was part of lunchtime my ploughman's (thank-you Sarah!). If we're in that part of Wales again we'll definitely return - but will be sure to book a table.
Fleeing from the lack-lustre offerings at the National Trust cafe, we were absolutely delighted to discover this delightful, light and bright tea room instead. Here, the cakes were sumptuous, truly homemade, and delicious. The tea was especially flavourful, we discovered that it was Welsh tea and were very happy to be able to purchase some from the village shop next door to take home. It's only a short distance off the main road (A483), and it's absolutely worth the small detour. Strongly recommended.
A cute little Welsh tearoom. Plenty to choose from. Cakes, scones, tarts, sarnies, and pies. All freshly made and excellent value for money. Try the Welsh Rarebit. Mmmmmmm, delicious.
Absolutely fantastic.
4 of us travelling on two motorcycles.
The staff, The food, The service, all second to none. We went off route to find this gem of a place, as we we're making our way to Seansea.
Glad we did.Definitely worth a visit.
The pastys and cakes etc are totally FABBY.
Really nice friendly and relaxing atmosphere inside but we sat outside on a lovely day.????
Excellent food and service, staff really friendly and helpful.
All set in a lovely village, highly recommend. A stop here, well worth it.
Lovely cosy tea room, great choice and quality of food with a lovely friendly service and atmosphere.
Afternoon tea with prosecco was superb, an absolute joy and just what I wanted to say thank you to two friends who helped me out big time.
Easily found in middle of village of Berriew.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Tasty homemade cakes.
Surprisingly busy but maybe that's got something to do with above comments.
