Good place to have some fish and chips. Bonus that you can eat in. The only small negative is that it's cash only. There is parking onsite, room for 2-3 cars ..
We popped in here on our way home to Wigmore,7 miles away. We bought 2 large fish,regular chips,& 2 scallops to eat on the way home. We could tell that the fish n chips weren't going to be up to much by how soggy the scallops were. But nothing could prepare us for the mush of chips,& especially the undercooked fish. The batter was still raw inside,& the fish tasted of nothing. £18.90 for the pleasure,too!!

Called in for a lunchtime bite. Had fish and chips. As is the case with chip shops these days, we ended up with enough chips to smother a Range Rover. How can they make a profit when they give away so many chips? Anyway, it cost over £20 for 2 fish and chips and a can of coke!! Unfortunately it didn't taste like a 20 quid fish lunch. It was OK but not amazing. Undercooked chips, very soggy and OK fish. Being the greedy lump that I am, I ate it all but only because it had cost what it did.
The lady that served us was lovely and friendly though.
Showed up 30 minutes before closing. The fish was not crispy on the outside and slightly mushy on the inside. The chips were soggy. Definitely not worth the money. The people behind the counter were nice.

All three lots of chips were cold and were very cold by the time we walked five minutes to the car. Overcharged us for what we bought. They also didn't do a vegan curry sauce and don't serve cheese which I always thought was pretty staple to a fish and chip shop. Definitely wouldn't come here again.
