How lucky are we to have this gem on our doorstep. We use Lucky House regularly for family get-togethers and the occasional cheeky mid week takeaway and we are never disappointed. The food is always freshly cooked, great value for money, delicious and of an exceptional standard. Mention must also go to the front of house staff, in particular the young lady who regularly takes our orders; her efficiency and outstanding customer service would grace any establishment and I hope this is acknowledged and appreciated. Thank you for playing a valuable role in our community.
I ordered house special fried rice, king prawns with ginger and spring onions, salt and pepper spared ribs, chicken sweetcorn soup; it was my first time to visit Lucky House and I’m sure I’ll go back there if I’m around in this area again. Overall - friendly n polite staff, good taste of food and value for money after all. Last but not the least, I got a bag of free prawn crackers too. ????

This is the second time I’ve ordered from here and food has been each time and the portions were generous. I ordered the dim sum starter, house special chow mein and salt and pepper chicken. The chow mein was beautiful with a lovely garlic gravy sauce, plenty of meat and vegetables. The salt and pepper chicken was cooked well too. The dim sum starter was also nice, with two large chicken satay sticks were nice. Also the spring rolls were made fresh not like other places which usually use frozen mini spring rolls.
Overall eat item was cooked well. I will continue to order from here.

Worst Chinese ever in all aspects!
Firstly, the ‘OWNER’ who served me had got the order wrong!! I’d driven 15 mins to pick up the missing item ‘ fried rice’, a total cost of £2.60. Because of her stupidity she still felt the need to charge me. With that I asked her because of her mistake would she be paying for my fuel - the owner just didn’t get it ???? Besides this the food tasted awful, cold, chicken not cooked properly. Will never be ordering from this place again!
If you decide to order from here, I’d recommend you always check your order before leaving the premises.

We were loyal customers until today. We ordered from our local chinese as normal and there were items missing from the order. I went back to collect new items and were charged for them, not only that but they would not accept cash as it was under £5 so I had to spend more for the items they missed off our order when taking it over the phone. We spend a lot at this place but now I am very offended and won't be returning.
Came to lucky house as my local chinese (sampan) was closed untill august, used to use lucky house a lot some years back but it changed for the worse anyway thought i would give them a go again, not really impressed they were rushing around to catch up orders so the wait time was ridiculous and i think due to this my chow mein was pretty much still raw so we didnt eat it, the egg fried rice was like uncle bens microwave rice and the chicken balls looked and tasted like they were cooked in a volcano! way too overcooked and burnt.
