The greatest Cumberland sausage rolls with the flakiest of pastries. If you're lucky you'll get one straight from the oven. Also serving hot drinks and other savoury and sweet treats.
We made a trip here planned in ahead of our walk, we arrived at 9:05 but they asked us to wait outside another 5 minutes, I wanted the bacon focaccia but asked to wait as still cooling so another 10 minutes, they said to come back, we went back 10 minutes later ordered the focaccia, guess what 10 minutes to cook, we were the 1st in the shop why not just say yes it will take 10 minutes we will get everything else ready! The coffee is delicious
Delicious sausage rolls and coffee to take away. Service was friendly and efficient and our insulated cup was thoughtfully pre-heated without asking. Good prices too.
Mostly a takeaway, but lovely service, great coffee, and baked things to die for. Will definitely come back for more treats
This little shop offers delicious croissants, brownies, sausage rolls filter coffee and ice cream. we tried the white chocolate chip brownies, almond croissants and sausage rolls. those were the yummiest food we had in Grasmere. Very friendly staff and great food.
Excellent café- really great coffee and veggie roll! Visited on a super rainy day and enjoyed people watching from a seat in the window.
Stopped for a pit stop here the other week on our walk in the lakes. 100% best coffee in Grasmere. Don't get me started on the sausage rolls! They were UNREAL! The cakes and other savoury items looked delicious too. Friendly staff and great service. Would definitely recommend if you're in need of a good coffee!
Top notch sausage rolls. Pastry is flaky but not heavy, and the sausage meat and seasoning is perfect. Fantastic bakery, but beware not really anywhere to sit inside on a rainy day.
