We needed some work done on our classic car. Most garages these days don't have a clue if the instructions aren't on their laptops.
Lindsay at the garage, identified the problem and rebuilt the driveshaft in a couple of hours. All for a very reasonable cost.
It's rare to find a trustworthy garage that you can have confidence in. We will definitely be using Lovell & Barnes for all our motoring needs in the future.

Yet again Lovell and Barnes pulled it out of the bag, I broke down last week, not a clue what was wrong, had it delivered to L&B who kept me informed on every single issue, and picked up today all done, Fantastic staff, polite, friendly and 1st class, thanks to all for your help, would never take our cars anywhere else, first class service
Had my car booked in for a job on the suspension, they changed out the rear trailing arm bushes and the centre rear exhaust section. This cost £820.80. When I picked the car up the technician said he wasn’t sure about the handling but could see nothing wrong with, he suggested new shocks. £336 later the handling was no better. I took the car to another garage who told me the rear tracking was out and the adjusters were seized. This was fixed by him for £180, and the car handle’s perfectly now.
I will never use Lovell and Barnes again.
I just wanted to thank the guys at Lovell and Barnes for your excellent work . We were on holiday in Corfe a couple of weeks ago when the clutch went ion our Passat . I phoned several garages for help with no luck . Lovell snd Barnes were really sympathetic and juggled their work to fit us in . They. also collected me and picked me up when the work was done. This could have ruined the holiday but they came to our aid and did their best. to minimise the repair costs . Thank You again I would wholeheartedly recommend this business for anyone needing their services in the future.

Such a lovely honest garage. 3 years I have taken my van there for its Mot, three years it has passed. 2 advisories over that time and they never pushed them doing the work, honest and said brakes were fine for a few thousand miles but will want doing before the next MOT. Highly recommended
