Excellent quality tasty food with good sized portions. This has been my go to Chinese for over 30 years. Now living in New Zealand, when I come back to visit, my mouth salivates at the thought of getting my fav dishes. When I returned last time, the food tasted exactly the same as when I first walked through the shop door. It was also good to see the owners haven’t changed, hence the high standards.
Although I live literally next door to another Chinese I tend to use this one as the food is better and the prices cheaper. Best takeaway in the area by far.

Lotus House Chinese takeaway is our usual place for a Chinese meal but today we were very disappointed with it.
The prawn curry was very watery & taste less.
The food wasn't very hot.
The king prawns were not very big.
There were big chunks of onion in all the dishes.
The whole dinner wasn't very tasty at all...very disappointing.
Sorry but we won't be coming back there for anymore meals.
Disgusting. Ordered food and it all came wrong gave me prawns mixed in with food when I never asked for it and when phoning to resolve it no awnser and being hung up on. Worst Chinese in the area in my opinion
The food is not greasy and a good size. The only downside personally is that food is not seasoned that well and taste bland compared to other Chinese. Also the menu is smaller. Good service and staff are polite. If they flavoured their food a bit better then it would certainly be one of the best around
