Stopped by for a takeaway and the couple running it were super polite and helpful. Food was good with tasty sauce. Singapore noodles had a nice level of spice, not super hot. Bamboo shoots were good too.
I've always bought food from here and was really happy but when they forgot to put the sweet and sour sauce in for my prawn balls it ruined the meal. I tried to ring several times but they had turned the phone off as they were busy. When I finally got through they said they would refund the price of the sauce but not the prawn balls.
I had spent over £23 and Paige was adamant that they couldn't refund the prawn balls as they were given to me. She had no concept of the fact that I had to travel 3 miles to get there, the meal was ruined and the phone was off the hook for over 2 hours so I couldn't contact them. She needs to have a lesson in chstomer satisfaction.
I left a review around a year ago for Lotus as it was shocking and I vowed to never return. Tonight on a wim and craving a take away I went back and can honestly say it was awesome. Albeit 1 dish ( Chinese chicken curry) was mistaking for beef with mushrooms, no faults at all. Good portions and thoroughly enjoyed it.

When I finally got through they would only credit me for the sauce which we cannot eat by itself. Paige who I spoke to could not see this as an insult. She had no idea of customer service. No apology.

I like to score Chinese Takeaway's on their Salt and Pepper chips. I've had many S&P chips over the years so it's a good baseline to score. This one unfortunately is without a doubt the worst S&P chips I've had. It was basically a portion of chips with salt and pepper!! Normally you get slices of onion and chilli peppers in with the chips but not with this one. I always have curry sauce with the chips and that was also very bland. I had to add my own spices to give it a bit of a kick. I did pick up a menu but definitely won't be returning when in the area
Just ordered king prawns in batter, couldn't eat, the batter was awful and hard. Unable to eat. Special chop suey had no taste. King prawn curry was void of flavour. Very disappointed. I am going to cook myself some food as still hungry.
Just attempted to eat a take away and highly disappointed. Really small portions of chicken fried rice (boiled rice with peas) but at big tray price. The sweet and sour chicken - is very heavily battered bits of chicken with a tub of sauce separate. No pineapple, peppers or onion. Szechuan chicken, very hot and sour and tastes highly of MSG.
Honestly, save your money. We will not bother going there again.
Pretty poor. Looks and tastes like school dinners. Staff are nice and we didn't wait long, but the food is diabolical. No flavour to any of the dishes, shredded chilli beef was soggy and not spicy at all, the spring rolls had hardly any filling. Satay chicken was not a satay, more like extremely salty gravy.
