SO lovely to see this back open! The new ladies are friendly, and the chips were like good ones from the seaside! Massive bonus, they now take debit card....huge win!
I just had a chip butty, bread was fresh, soft and buttered well, £3.60, a large bap and generous portion of chips.
I went early around 11.30am, only living across the road, and the chips were hot and delicious. I spied some great looking homemade pies in the hot cabinet, but was served really quickly so didn't get chance to figure those out ...I will be doing.

Great to see this hidden gem is open once more. It was always home to some of the best fish & chips in the area, and the new owners are keeping up the good name! Delicious, tender, perfectly-cooked fish and plentiful chips, all accompanied by great friendly service!
Called at Longfields Fish O’il yesterday teatime,
We had two lightly batted fish large chips one fish scallop, large peas & curry.!!

A classic old chippy with all the usual menu. The Fish and chips are 5 star. Huge white meaty fish with homemade chips - nothing better.
