Best KPortal Reviews

We went into this cafe because it was dog friendly and had great reviews. Coffees was great no doubt. We were a group of 7 +3 dogs and hence there was a large order. The two Batista's were stressed but making our coffees and looked non friendly until what I presume the manager came out and changed the whole ambience of the cafe and graced us with such warm welcome. She ensured that we were well taken care of by a simple smile and checked in one us even after we paid
The only drawback was when I entered there was a family who treated us with hostility. To me, I noticed micro aggression towards people of colour. They demanded for the door to be closed even when we weren't done entering and gave us a very funny look.
I'm giving 4 stars because I actually did like my coffee
3 stars for the manager and then later on changed approach of the barista who were educated by the manager on how to be warm and welcoming to people.& Two stars of atmosphere- what I felt and how I was treated as a person of colour.
Great place to stop for a drink and a quick bite to eat. We sat up top and enjoyed views of the bay from our table, coffee tasted great as did the food. Fast and friendly service, highly recommended ☕️
Looked at opening times this morning (27/04/24) on the internet, saw that they were open at 9.00am so drove 15 miles to have lunch there only to find it is closed and up for sale!!!!!! Why is their information out of date??? Really bloody annoyed!!!!!!
Good spot for a coffee and sweet treat - lovely cakes on display. We stopped there briefly, but we saw the staff seemed quite under pressure
Great place for coffee, over looking Treadduer Bay. Great service. Friendly staff. All round Great place.
Visited in July on our last day of staying in the Bay. Have walked past it many a time in 2 yrs, wish I'd called in now on previous occasions!
Ordered hot drinks, the missus is a hot chocolate freak....she reckons that was the best what she has had????.
Lovely down to earth girls running the place, GREAT decor! Love the shark in the toilet????????????
Sat upstairs and had brunch. Six people with a variety of coffees plus bacon barms, panini and toast. Got a table with a good view overlooking the sea nearby.
Staff were polite and professional. They got the order wrong but it was quickly rectified and the refund was brought before we needed to ask. Good selection of music playing at a reasonable volume.
The only disappointing thing was the drinks were served in single use cups.
Nice coffee, nice fresh bacon rolls and good service plus lovely clean toilets.
The only downside is that we were given single use takeaway cups without having a choice to have reusable ones which would reduce waste and cost and help to save the planet.
