A newly opened Chinese restaurant in the old Crown Hotel In Lockerbie. The meal was excellent. If you've tried their other venue in Dalbeattie you'll know what to expect. Portions are more than adequate and very reasonably priced. There is also a great selection of beers and wine on the bar. It's well worth a visit in you're in the area.
Newly decorated bar and restaurant. The seats are spacious. The service staff is friendly. The most important thing is that you can swipe credit cards. The beer portion is sufficient. The meals are delicious. The toilets are also very clean.
Ordered a special chow mein, what I received was neither special nor what I would call a chow mein.
It tasted like salty sugar, or sugary salt, contained 2 tiny prawns which my teeth couldn't get through and the whole lot was slimy.
I'm actually off to have a rant at the idiots who recommended this place. Turns out there still isn't viable Chinese food in Lockerbie.
I'm off to be sick and get rid of the 5 mouthfuls I managed to choke down.

Crown Hotel is closed and up for sale. Try Kings Arms Hotel we recommend for food, looks a good place to stay
staff are polite and helpful but did not stay, Food was good value. For rooms try sure Hotel best western, in walking distance.
My partner and i enjoyed a lovely mid week evening meal, as they have a new menu out .
Was not too busy, we was served promptly, for drinks, and our food came within a reasonable time. The crown was warm and inviting, with a pleasant atmosphere .
We would go back again,
