First time at this chippy. Will definitely be returning. We had fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish (batter crisp and tasty) and the peas were hot and very tasty. Chips generally very good, apart from the odd one or two. We will certainly be back for a return visit. Thank you Locker's.

Best fish shop by far in the area. Fish is fresh not frozen. Everything is cooked to order.
We were trying to decide where to eat but the lovely smell coming from Locker's Fish and Chip shop tempted us in their direction. We sat outside and were served fish, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce. It was delicious, would definitely recommend. Friendly staff too.
I’m sorry to leave a negative review, but I’m afraid the food we had from Lockers was very poor. Hard to tell exactly, but it’s possible the fish was frozen before being put in the batter? This may have accounted for the fact that the outside of the batter was close to burnt, whereas inside it was mush. As soon as we cut into the fish, water was released leaving everything soggy and it looked and tasted like the fish was only cooked in some places. The chips also tasted like they had been hanging around for some time. All three of us left the fish as it was actively unpleasant to eat. We ate some of the chips as we were hungry and they were at least cooked. I guess it’s possible this was an off day, but still hugely disappointing.

They will get the vegetable oil fryer going for you if you need.
Not may chippies do vegetable oil in the area.
Just finished our fish and chips from Locker's. Absolutely delicious, lovely crispy batter, good potion of fish. Also great to see vegetarian options.
Very friendly service, would definitely recommend.
