Locale bellissimo, servizio eccellente da 5 stelle,locale nuovo,pulito e molto curato sia all'interno che in terrazza (nella piazza Francesco Carrara).Ottima vista e molto intimo e tranquillo. Lo chef deve essere stellato perché cucina divinamente. Anche modesto sulla cucina senza glutine che è eccellente. Molto molto attenti alle mie allergie e intolleranze.Vi ringrazio per l'esperienza gastronomica e per la Vostra gentilezza. Ho adorato il loro gamberi rivisitati con salsa alla menta,e anche le linguine al limone, vongole e bottarga di muggine.Anche il dolce non ha deluso. Il caffè è servito con biscottini in uno scrigno e la pasta fresca e pane con glutine è di loro produzione.Lo strastraconsiglio.Da provare assolutamente. Unico difetto...è non avervi sottocasa perché abitiamo in Versilia ma torneremo sicuramente. Un saluto a tutto lo staff!!!Bravissimi. Consiglio un cartello per darvi più visibilità in piazza perché non abbiamo visto subito il ristorante,ma lo abbiamo trovato per caso.
Centralissimo, nella piazzetta principale del paese, vanta una vista bellissima sulla piana. Il locale è molto elegante e il personale molto gentile e preparato. Vasta la scelta dei vini e ricca quella dei piatti, è anche possibile scegliere un menu degustazione ben studiato. Non ricchissima la scelta dei dolci ma due su tre di quelli assaggiati davvero notevoli. Assolutamente da provare la melanzana affumicata fra gli antipasti e fra i primi, i tortellini. Un po’ di delusione per la trippa, ma sono abituato troppo bene con quella del mi’babbo ????

Heerlijke spaghetti met de smaak van zee en een bijzonder frisse risotto met limoen en scampi. Multo benne.
En toen het dessert met doppio en decaf-cappuccino: lemoncurt.
Delicioso wat een raffinement.
De bediening was zeer attent en vriendelijk.

Beautiful restaurant with the most fantastic view of the Tuscan countryside. We sat inside next to the window by the bar & it was the best view our whole trip. Definitely try the local Tuscan pasta dish!
This was a fantastic experience. Happened upon this restaurant by chance - just passing through Montecarlo - but I would return to Montecarlo just for this experience. The owner and host (Giovanni) was amazing. Knew everything about all the wines and paired them perfectly with our meals. The atmosphere was great and the views over the rolling hills and vineyards is what you hope and dream of for a dinner in Tuscany. The corn was a surprise but also the hit of the meal. Also learnt that Giovanni’s brother is the chef. Lovely family restaurant, done by locals. Would recommend to anyone - definitely a destination.
Abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di fare una piacevole scoperta qualche settimana fa. Menù degustazione ottimo con portate da ristorante stellato, abbinamenti inaspettati ma azzeccatissimi. Il vino consigliato dal cameriere era all'altezza delle portate. Locale intimo e personale competente.
We only discovered this spontaneously when we arrived hungry in our nearby B&B and it was recommended to visit Montecarlo. We only had one thing in mind and that we need to have meat that night. So it was fascinating for us to be choosing Locanda Lunardi's and tasting the best dry-aged beef we had EVER, even according to my Piemontese husband: "Best meat in his whole entire life!" That's big news!
The meat was definitely the star of the show but adding to that is the homemade butter they served with bread that was so good, and noticing little details, such us providing blankets when it was getting chilly at night or putting a separate chair for one lady's dog, or explaining the food to me in English so I can better understand.
More than the great food was really the little details that makes it the best experience. Highly recommended!
