Stunning lake. Parking is £5 if using the main entrance. There are some cafes around the outside and also a steam train that travels alongside the lake from one end to another. Plenty of water sports take place. The car park is a decent size and can accommodate large vehicles.

They have done some nice improvements lately with some new paths.
I have visited here loads of times over the years and it does get busy on nice summer days.

Lake Bala is my most favourite place to go in summer. Scenic views all around.
Amazing place! Really tranquil! Scenic views and decent size lake. The main beach was very busy but others slightly smaller ones around the lake were pretty much empty. Perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding as well as swimming. The water was very clear. It had an algae when we went but if you don’t have a dog with you that shouldn’t be a problem. Water was very warm towards the surface but was much colder the deeper you went. There is also cute town next to it if you wish to go for a meal. There’s few sporting and grocery stores too. Would love to visit again. Love Wales, lovely place and people ????????????????????????????

Beautiful part of Wales. Amazing views out across the lake and a lovely circular walk too. Short walk from Bala town centre.
Llyn Tegid is a beautiful clear lake. it has good car park and not a bad price. With toilets. It does a number of water sports such as kayaking and panel boarding, plus a few doggies having a great time by the shore. A lovely place first thing but the car park does get busy quickly. The Bala countryside surrounding the lake is also stunning for walks, hiking and just driving around.
