I've attached photos. The fish looks lovely, but my large portion of chips wasn't very generous and was largely made up of scrap ends. As the young lady gave me my chips, I did ask "Are they fresh?" Her immediate reply was, "Would you like salt and vinegar?" ???? I said, "The fish looks gorgeous, but the chips look a little sorry for themselves." The death stare the chap gave me. I thought I might have said, "I kill puppies and small children." ???? He then instructed the lady to "Just wrap" which she did, without adding salt and vinegar. ???? The fish really was good, the chips, what I had of them, were fine. The atmosphere was stilted, to say the least.
Horrendous meal this eve, fish was OK, very small portion of chips, large sausage was stone cold as if come out of the fridge and the chicken kebab was tatseless. Even more shocked to see they are charging £4 for a 1.25litre bottle of coke ???????? Won't be returning again

Fantastic chips. The haddock is beautiful and a big portion too... the cod is just as nice.. highly recommend.

Menu board is a mess, with randomly positioned hand-written stickers. I changed my order while a pastie was being heated, and a piece of cod was in the fryer. That the proprietor didn’t charge me for everything he insisted I accept, is why the whole farcical experience in our local rural chippy gets four stars. My experience says the fish and (possibly) veggie pasty could have been sold and we could have enjoyed the spring rolls we’ll eat soggy or use the contents of!
The surplus food is in our fridge and everyone went to bed contentedly full.
The very best fish n chips. Sadly there is no where to eat them ( if you drive up to buy them), it is very much a local fish n chip shop in a qaint village in Wales on the way to the stunning waterfall not too far away.
Great little chip shop, I had mini fish and chips and it was lovely ????
