If you actually get to see a doctor then they are not that bad, But that’s rare that you actually get to see one and even get through to someone and
They are quite good at losing prescriptions and then over a week later once you phone and they magically find it then you have to wait another week for them to process it.
The doctors are lovely but can be difficult to contact. Phoning in the morning finds one 15th in the queue, and the e-consult is switched off most of the time, which is very frustrating.
When I was really bad with depression I waited for a phone call from the doctor when I finally got a call from the doctor I missed it I called back and mentioned how long I've waited for her to contact me she said "we'll when people miss are calls its hard to talk to everyone" basically blaming me I waited 3 months for that phone call worst place to go if you have mental heath issues
This place is awful. Someone I know, doctor came out and said everything was fine, next thing they're in hospital undergoing tests. What kind of practice are you running
Shocking treatment couldn't get my son a appointment in the doctors being told to do e consult. The e consult was saying he needed to be seen, for a receptionist to tell me it's for emergency only. Fourth day I demand he be seen, he was only in the doctors two minutes when he was told he needed to be rushed to hospital as he was showing signs of diabetes. Fast forward two weeks and he was indeed type one diabetic, he was extremely ill and likely not of survived if he had gone to bed that night as he was close to a coma. All because it's a fight to see a GP face to face.
They wouldn't give me a prescription even with a hospital letter explaining he was insulin dependent. Told me they ring the hospital have it out with them.
Two weeks later after ringing up for more needles to inject the insulin the prescription was lost and I was told I'd be waiting for sometime. Even though he was in a hyper and needed to inject himself. This was pre ordered the day before to go to boots, the receptionist was rude and acted like we were a inconvenience to her even with my 14 year old son in need of insulin. Not even a apology, shocking treatment of a chil.
I'm going to change my GP. I don't feel safe. Their knowledge of mental health illness is limited. Had to contact them needing my bloods not receiving my medication on time which then leaves me with without medication over the weekend. Just don't seemed to be bothered. Moved up from cardiff 5 months ago seen GP once however had reasons where I think I would have preferred face to face.
Saw an Indian doctor this morning for an urgent appointment and he was the best doctor I have ever seen. Very helpful and was obviously keen to get to the bottom of the issue. Superb service thank you. Stuart
Wow I have never seen such disgusting from a medical profession!
So whilst laying on the table being seen to I was shouted at because I had to ask them todo their job properly and check their notes.
Apparently I had missed a physio so I was taken of the list yet the physio has recommended further testing from the apt I attended - which is obviously not on the system …. Again
Because of this she refused to deal with me and receptionist then threatens to call the police if I don’t leave because I ask to see another dr due to Managing Dr attitude.
I have already been misdiagnosed from a CT scan last year now they refuse to do their job completely
