Spent a few hours here on a lovely sunny day, quite a few benches to sit on to take in the views across to Kidwelly and beyond. There's a lovely pirate ship for younger children to play in near to the beach, a toilet block, and two food vans serving snacks, ice creams and fish and chips. Towering above are the ruins of Llansteffan Castle ????
Wonderful, magical place which is different every time we visit it!
Excellent beach for dog walks free carpark and toilets open
A lovely place to spend a day. We went with our granddaughter and she loved the playground on the beach, ice creams and climbing up the castle tower. It was great to go somewhere with free parking and free entrance to the castle. The grounds were well kept and we had a lovely picnic in the castle grounds with amazing views of the coast.
Well worth a visit
Very clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere ????
Beautiful beach that goes on for miles, particularly at low tide.
Free parking, although there's not a lot of it, but you can park on the approach roads.
Good fish and chips. Ice cream stall and shop nearby. Play area for the kids.
Lovely big flat beach with play area, fish and chip stall, cafe, loos and parking. Really enjoyed it. Nice level of people too on a warm bank holiday weekend. Is also a lovely cliff top walk at the back of the beach. Always go when I am in the area, really live this beach!
Brilliantly quiet beach with places to eat and at the moment free parking. Above the beach an ancient castle sits high on the hill side a short but steady climb to view this fantastic piece of Welsh history
