What a little find this was after a search for gluten free food in Truro. I had a poke bowl and it was fresh and delicious with lots of home made things. Staff were friendly and there is a soft okay area for children. I will go back again.
Lovely place for bubs to crawl around! Our twins loved it. Food was yummy. We were impressed with the extensive menu and good prices with great menu options for kids.
Rated lower for atmosphere, although it was peaceful, sounded like music was played from a phone or laptop and I thought a proper speaker would be better for the space to contribute to the welcoming place. Wouldn’t stop us from coming back. We look forward to visiting soon. Thank you!
I'm always excited to check out the new places cropping up in Truro. This one is an odd one but in a good way. It's very literally hidden away and the exterior made me a little trepidatious. Inside it is very large, far more space for each table then I have ever seen. It has quite a strange effect but is very tranquil for reading. It was a nice place to escape the summer heat
The staff were very friendly and courteous and asked me about allergies and such which was nice. They had a little space for drawing and crafts more generally which was quite a novelty. Food was good and reasonably priced. It reminds me quite a bit of the Cafe Colours we used to have in Truro in terms of the food and drinks available, similar quality.
Had a 4 year old's party here and we could not have been more impressed! Really low stress, great communication, truly reasonable prices, everyone went home happy. Oh. And the cupcakes they made were delicious and decorated with attention to detail and love. Highly recommended ????
A lovely cozy place for toddlers to have fun and parents to relax and have a cuppa. They have a soft play area for little ones along with a sensory room with lights. We had a fun birthday party here , perfectly organised by the team. The fabulous buffet and cake ( on our request) was done by the team. Decoration was lovely ????. Our experience was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Most amazing food, the sweetest staff. The salad was the most beautiful salad I’ve ever had such great presentation!! The portion sizes are brilliant, I haven’t had the privilege not eating in as I order but it always makes my day and the food is so so yummy honestly the photos don’t do it justice it’s even better in person!!

Bloody good food! Had a bacon sandwich, lovely crispy bacon and a side salad with balsamic glaze! Fantastic!
I'll preface by saying my little one is too young for the play area so I'll just talk about the cafe part!
I can't eat dairy or soy while breastfeeding and it has so far felt near impossible to avoid. Little Roo's are not only the first place I've encountered to actually specify on the menu that an item contains soy, but they also always check with customers for allergies before preparing the food. They have great options on the menu, but also allow you to make changes to be even more accommodating for restrictions (I swap normal cheese for vegan).
All that is before even mentioning how good their food and coffee is. The waffles are so delicious - fresh, well seasoned, crispy on the edges - and they do JUGS of really tasty iced coffee, which I always get with oat milk (for only 30p more). All in all, just great. Really easy, tasty, and affordable.
