Highly recommended pub, one of my favourites. Ancient building in lovely Aylesford that takes you back in time. Proper selection of traditional Ales from local brewery Goachers. Always a warm and friendly atmosphere!

Great local pub. Full of character and characters! Fantastic Goachers ales, and Turners ciders. All the staff do a brilliant job! All of them are friendly and welcoming! Keep up the great work Team Gem!
Such a great little pub, really glad I made the stop. Great ales to be had, really friendly service and has that proper pub feel! Great prices were an added bonus, I hope I get to revisit soon.

Proper old traditional pub with great well kept beer at reasonable prices £3:30 for a pint.
Old 1066 is a beer to behold.
Such a friendly pub, great staff and landlord, also reflected in the clientele.
Splendid all round
Unbelievably just gets better. From Eccles it's well worth the 20min walk to Aylesford for an excellent inexpensive pint and traditional convivial company.

This place lives up to it's name! Very small, quirky little pub. You feel like you have stepped back in time when you step through the door. Great selection of (local) Goachers beers plus other refreshments. A fantastic place to come for drinks and a chat.
Great little pub for a pint. Staff really friendly and a good atmosphere inside. Watch your head on the doors though.
