After having to wait ages in order to speak with a receptionist to book an appointment, as I need a tetanus jab for work. I was informed that it wasn’t certain that the surgery provide that kind of service, hence I was asked to call back another day as they would check if the jab was provided at all at the practice.
Fine.
I called again the practice around one week later, I managed to speak with someone after having to wait another twenty minutes to speak with someone, again I explained the situation that I need a tetanus jab as I’m a gardener. The person responsible for the call seemed unsure about something, she did not voice it and booked the appointment anyway but said that she would check something and would call me lat a later time to confirm the appointment.
The jab was booked to a week later. I did NOT receive any call, hence I’m assuming everything is going to proceed smoothly.
I arrive to my appoint on the day and time of the appointment, to eventually be called by someone to have this vaccine. Very unfortunately, this vaccine is only available for travel and or if you have had a cut, apparently. The vaccine is not given if you require it for work.
Well, I have not been informed of any of this facts.
I found incredible how this surgery is so disorganised, disjointed and willing to waste people’s time without a thought about it.
I got annoyed to have to deal with this level and quality of service and left. As the door close behind me, I was shouted by the nurse for slamming HER DOOR.
Well, this people who works for this practice seem to me rather entitled and unaware that they are payed to provide a service to the public. They provide a poor service, with poor communication, poor management and expect to be praised all the time.
After having strand along to organise this jab, I managed to achieve a full zero and waste a lot of my time, hence the review to the practice organisation, management and level of care of the nursing team.
My kids was very sick.we got appointment on 5:30.waiting for more then 40 mins.my kids still crying.she want to go home.no any response reception staff was very bad.there sending later appointments people already appointment finish 5:40 and 5:50.this GP service is not good.very bad.
Total waste of time is this place. My wife came here today with a pain in her back which lasts for 3 months now and they told her to take paracetamol. What a bunch of amateurs!!!! THIS PLACE IS MEANINGLES,avoid if you can
Absolute joke of a medical practice. Need a fit note after heart bypass surgery, every time i ring up to see if its ready they spew out there spiel that it takes 3 days to get a note and its with the doctor now, ring back in 2 days. So you ring back, different person , same spiel. Wish i had never changed fro my original practice.
Absolutely joke, never can get through them on the phone , it's just impossible to book an appointment with th GP, they just keep hanging out the calls on you. It's ridiculous. I'm moving to another GP , worst medical centre ever . It's even worst than most of medical centre in Portugal.
Absolute joke never answer the phone I ring at 8.00am without fail and the lines still are not open couple minutes after. When they open your lucky to get through and eventually when it does ring they let it ring out. I hardly use the doctors unless I’m in urgent need too rather someone else get the appointment who needs it more. But I genuinely need a appointment before I go insane and I can’t even get the help
The thinning of the herd..... Who are primary 24 and why do they control so much of our local health service . Is their demand for profit killing our community and taking our loved ones away.
Mediocre service, terrible staff on phone and on person.
