First time at Linda's on 22nd December at 13:45 and will be going back. I had large hot roast pork sandwich with all the trimmings and my Mrs had Turkey with all the trimmings sandwich. Both beautiful full of meat. Great atmosphere just before Christmas and service great.
Believe me when I tell you, the food here is AMAZING. I have been to a lot of places in my time and tasted a lot of cake but I have to say Linda's baked goods are the best. Her flavours are amazing and very generous with portions as well. I have been coming here for a while now and every time I go, the service and food is great. They also make amazing coffee and mains are delicious as well. I would highly recommend. Great atmosphere for friends, family or even if you want something to takeaway :)
This place is always a stop off point when meeting extended family at the tanyard for lunch. The welcome is always warm and the owner Linda is really lovely and great customer focused (as well as a great laugh!) and the food is brilliant in terms of quality and value! A fantastic selection of cakes and buns as well as the ploughman’s lunches that one relative orders one to eat whilst there and one to take home for later! Which for him is rare, so again speaks volumes of the great tasty food. Brilliant and recommended to all.
Visited quite a few places recently coffee shops, tea rooms etc, but this place is easily our favourite, we're regulars now on a Friday, the food is amazing (quiche is sublime) the cake incredible, fantastic friendly staff.
This is a little gem of a place.

The premises are clean and airy and the staff very friendly and polite.
First visit fabulous bacon & egg buttie and a huge jam and cream scone washed down with a cup of Earl Grey. Definitely won't be our last.
Fantastic little cafe, great food and value for money. We had a roast pork sandwich, a beef brisket sandwich and the steak and cheese sandwich. All the sandwiches where generously sized, fresh and hot. We had the roast potatoes with gravy on the side which were a great addition, the gravy was gorgeous. 3 different cakes, all very tasty, a large pot of tea for 2 which poured 4 cups and a latte. We will be returning very soon. The hot sandwiches were some of the best value for money sandwiches I’ve had for a long time.
Fabulous place, we found this place yesterday. Best breakfast I have ever had out, can highly recommend. The cakes are home made and look fab. Will be back soon to try the cakes.Definitely my favourite coffee shop. Please try you won't be disappointed. 10/10. ????
