Best KPortal Reviews

Little cute local cafe - it looks very new and clean. It has a little upstairs area which feels quite private and nice. Was very cold with the air con on whilst we were there and maybe the setting was set wrong. The food is interesting and with good selections of brunch items. Especially liked the poached eggs with dukkah spices. The French toasts also had good flavours although the texture was quite dry side. The rice bowl was fresh and also is good for lunch, too. I’d give food 4 stars. Cocktails were quite let down: both the Bloody Mary’s and espresso martinis didn’t feel right ingredients so hopefully the quality of the cocktails improve.
When you come once, come back the next day for breakfast! We had a delicious Eggs Florentine and Halloumi. Thanks Marcela and Leo
I have been in London for a week now and this has been hands down the best breakfast I had with my wife. The chef has some very creative combinations that you will absolutely not find anywhere else. Everything down to the pickles are home made and the front end service is extremely kind and helpful. Coffee was great also. They are in the Oval area outside of the touristic centre of London, but if you really want a good breakfast it is worth the short tube ride. Get off at Oval and literally go south for less than a block. I had the salty meat bagel and my wife the bacon Bree. Both were so good that we then had to try the Korean fried chicken bagel and share it. Just amazing!
Fantastic brunch - we went two days in a row! Not a vegetarian but the Full Veggie House is an amazing combo, with a glorious potato rosti. Almost didn't want to leave a review as this has been a bit of a well-kept neighbourhood secret!...
I was so shocked to see that this place has almost 90 reviews (I’m the 90th <3) and EVERY SINGLE REVIEW was 5 stars. I feel like that’s rare. So we had to try it.
And it deserves every single 5 star review that it has. The coffee here is amazing. The food here is even better. The food is actually what makes this place phenomenal. It’s definitely a place that needs to be frequented more than once. I got the French toast and it was fine dining level but still tasted like comfort food.
I wish I could give them 6 stars.
Stunning little place, amazing food. Bloody (Mary) lovely. Spanish Chirozo hash was smashing, couldn't have asked for better, the portions are large. If you're in the area, definitely check it out! Vegan poke bowl and full English also great!
The chicken poke bowl is divine! Very good portion and so so delicious! Patrick the barista always makes the best Cappuccino.
Outstanding food in an area that is lacking in good places to eat. I had their take on a full English breakfast: bacon and sausages both meaty and full of texture; mushrooms and kale perfectly sauteed in butter and garlic; a perfectly poached egg on top of a rich oozing potato rösti (almost like a dauphinois); beans with a Middle Eastern spice note; and decent sourdough toast. At about £15 I thought it might be overpriced but it was actually good value; this is the not the low-quality but cheap and gut busting style of fried breakfast, and all the better for it!
