My usual garage was fully booked so tried this one ascwas close by.
They diagnosed my noisy front end as wheel bearings which were both replaced.
Now my van is quiet and runs perfect again.
Kept me updated with costs and timeframe of the job.
Will defo use again.
Had new springs fitted to my Scirocco, while carrying out the work they snapped the scuttle tray and contacted me to say they would be willing to go halves on the part, which they broke. Ended up fitting it myself in the end.
My teenage nephew did work experience this last week and has loved it. Al the owner has supported all my nephew's needs as well as offered for him to go during school holidays to learn more. My nephew came home each night with a smile on his face although wouldn't say what he'd learnt so I could make him work on my car ????.
Have just had my Mot and repairs done here.

I've been using Lightoakes for atleast 15 year, they are a team of professional competent mechanics. Never had any problems. Servicing, MOT's and general repairs. Always willing to give unbiased advice.
Offered Very expensive genuine parts £450 plus Vat.....when u can buy over the counter at VW cobridge £372 thats with Vat
Avoid this garage at all costs owner drove my car with a known major fault "brakes not working properly as they could not bleed them "had my car for 4 days to do a service which they then found out the couldn't do correctly.charged me nearly £600 for a service at 10k with front brake pads absolutely discracefull will never go near the place again
