Very quick, and the staff are very friendly. Was great with my daughter and made her comfortable as she wasn't keen on being there. Dentist.
I was sad to learn, Dr Howarth has left the practice, she was such a thorough GP and is sadly missed.
I've not needed to make contact with the surgery up until recently. The GP I spoke with was ok, however, felt that he was stereotyping me on lifestyle change. The GP has never seen me nor does he know what my lifestyle is.
Since covid it has become difficult to see a gp and I don't feel all my health issues can be discussed in a telephone consultation. I doubt this is the only practice that operates in this way.
I left this practice over a year ago now, as I had to seek private health care as the doctors were not listening nor were they addressing my health issues, all they did was throw medications at me especially antibiotics, to the point where my pharmacist became concerned and advised i went to A&E. Dr Thagia is so rude, she thinks, because she is a gp she is above you.
The new practice I'm with, i can say, the few doctors I have seen are brilliant, they do lIsten and don't just throw medications at you.
Receptionists are u helpful and rude and the waiting time is ridiculous but receptionists make the experience a lot worse!
Helpful staff, from Reception through to nurse and chemist needs. Other areas are Appointment only.
Doctors are alright once you see them but impossible to get through on the phone, phone line is always busy and no option to queue or be put on hold so have to phone back multiple times until you're lucky enough to get through. Although some of the reception staff are good most are rude and unhelpful when you try to speak to them. Seem to like being deliberately difficult!
Wea very rude woman who sits in the office, is rude without stopping, when you try to write out a prescription, she forces you to do it in writing, and at a fine the prescription is repeated, today she told me if I don't like something, then I need to change the doctor, and at best, go to country from where I came !!! I also wanted to check the weight there is a stand, the woman started screaming so much that even her ears hurt and said that I was some kind of king that I had to ask her for permission. And when I left there rude in the trail and called me all sorts of words !!!! how after such is not to be rude in response to my mercy ????
Absolutely horrified by the way my grandad was treated at his appointment. Went past waiting time for him to be told nobody was there to see to him. The woman he was supposed to see sent her assistant to sort out my grandads assessment, then turned up with her shopping bags in hand with no care in the world. Luckily my dad was with him as he is a vulnerable man with mental health issues. Disgraceful !!
I don't come here often but it's usually straight forward to see the doc now that they have a mobile app. I don't really have much interaction with the recepcionists. One annoyance was that allegedly changed some IT infrastructure yet didn't tell anyone thus when I went to use the app I had to re - register all my information.
