Amazing play area in the Lesnes Abbey Wood Park. Challenging tasks for toddlers aged 3-6 years- climbing frames, monkey bars etc.
strongly recommended- and its also free parkijg around the park- double win.
There is a lot to see. The Abbey ruins are interesting to look around and there are some information boards to explain the history. Don't miss the old mulberry tree and circular mosaic. There is beautiful small flower garden and also a varied Arboretum.
The ancient woodland is well wiryh an explore too. There are wood carvings and some amazing old trees. Be aware some of the trails have some long, steep inclines which may be challenging for some and not suitable for wheelchairs.
Greens flowers birds bees insects, it is such a well maintained area by the local volunteers. Great place to unwind mind and connect with the nature.
Our first visit and my family absolutely LOVED it here!!!
I love this place, but so do the flytippers, apparently. It's so unfair! The Friends of Lesnes Abbey and Woods (FOLAW) do a great job in maintaining the area in partnership with Bexley Council.
Great place to go for a walk/hike. Well maintained paths and quite peaceful. The hills are a lot of work!
Lovely place to do hiking up to the hill ????
Great place for family fun, picnics, runs and more
Really beautiful place to be
