Amazing food and steak cooked to perfection in this lovely family run restaurant. Could not rate this higher. A must visit.

Fabulous find, waitress great, friendly and very efficient. Too much food, and roast potatoes were underdone almost inedible and veg over done. Too many tomatoes on prawn cocktail, I would have like them cut up.plenty of prawns but some prawns warm others cold...steak was rare, despite asking medium fortunately not an issue I will eat mooing...salmon 2 large fillets definable good value for money.

Fabulous meal! Really enjoyed our evening. The starters and our steaks were amazing. We couldn't manage a dessert as fabulous portion sizes. Will certainly return when we visit Torquay again.

Fabulous meal and great service. Our steaks cooked perfectly to our taste and all dishes including starters were delicious. We didn’t have desert as our first two courses were so big. It was our best meal in Torquay!

Our second time visiting legend at steps, the food is absolutely amazing and the portions are huge!! We really enjoyed it, thanks, we will definitely be back in the new year and will be recommending you to our guests!!

Great place.

I had the whitebait starter which was a really good sized portion.

I then had the surf and turf. The steak was cooked to perfection and the prawns were lovely and juicy again cooked to perfection. The garlic sauce on the prawns was sooo tasty, enough to mop up with my chips too.

The sauté potatoes chips and vegetables were again all cooked good also there was plenty of them.

Both meals were absolutely stunning.

The waitress was helpful and couldn't do enough for us.

Definitely going back again.

We had the set meal . Both had the steak and both cooked to perfection. I also opted for peppercorn sauce of which there was plenty not just a shot glass full.

Thoroughly enjoyed the time spent at this restaurant.

What a fabulous experience. Wonderful waitress, nothing too much trouble and the most amazing food. The steaks were superb, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The vegetables were also perfect. The dessert was really moreish. Will definitely be visiting again shortly!! Thank you so much to the chef, his wife and waitress for making our evening such a pleasurable experience.
