Best KPortal Reviews

Very good food..most buffet are just generic, they had a good variety and each was of a good quality. Also the chefs are willing to cook extra. You don't like chilli on the prawns? They are happy to cook some without. Would recommend. Drinks are a little expensive however
£20 a person, for midday. Not peak hours, keep that in mind.
This is not a world buffet, I believe they have a style of food on per day. And it's poor, really poor.
Chinese:
This was the main selection, and it wasn't nice at all, very watery and lacked alot of flavour. Even the selection seemed slim. Nothing was overly nice. I'm struggling to find a positive writing this.
Pizza:
1 pizza, I assume is a £4 shop bought one with some garlic bread. It wasn't freshly made. Considering this is buffet style.
Salad bar:
I mean....I certainly didn't feel it was worth even trying if I'm honest.
Dessets:
Stale, and not a massively great selection.
Sweets:
Lovely. You couldn't really go wrong here.
The staff were lovely, all seems quite young and eager, and this review isn't on them, but the management and chefs.
They didn't replenish foods once they were gone, I was waiting for more beef in Blackbean sauce which never came.
The best park, by far:
The numerous signs saying "DONT WASTE FOOD".....this is an all you can eat??? Isn't that the whole point to try different foods? This is the first I've ever seen signs like this at a place, which is designed to potentially waste food.
I hope the restaurant the best, but they got a long long way to go to be successful.
Despite this being lunch, it shouldn't matter what time or what day, the quality should remain. And this meal was a waste of money
Had a lovely birthday meal with my family, will definitely be going again , food fresh and delicious.
Staff friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean .
Had a free cocktail for my birthday too
As mentioned in other reviews, the food on offer is more Chinese than anything else. No Indian. As far as Italian, the closest thing are meatballs in tomatoes. The food is not too bad, but the large tubs of industry curry sauce in the kitchen behind the buffet area is a dead giveaway of low cost ingredients. Small portions are cooked regularly to keep the servings fresh.
We were a family of four and found the prices very expensive, so would only be a treat for us once every 2 months maybe. 59.00 for two adults and two children on Wednesday evening. This does not include drinks. For 1 drink each, add another 12.00.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive. The decoration is relaxed. Nice chandeliers. There was no pressure to finish your meal to clear the table for new customers. We stayed 2 hours and felt very relaxed. This was a HUGE positive! Congrats to the staff.
Positives - ambiance, decoration, friendly staff
Negatives - food quality and taste is so-so, expensive for families even during 'off peak' periods.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves today with our 2 very young grandchildren 1yrs old and 3yrs old.
we thought the food was delicious being freshly cooked and hot. our grandchildren enjoyed it too especially the many varieties of desserts.
Staff was very friendly, helpful and very polite. Prices were very good except only one thing surprised us,we thought it was very pricey on a little glass bottle of coke size of half a pint £3.20.
The atmosphere was lovely had music playing.
All of the restaurant was lovely and clean seats and tables very comfy to eat at.
The buffet and kitchen area was lovely and clean every dish labeled every dish had a good clean strong tongs or serving spoons. The food storage area for the buffet food was all clean the chefs were always cooking more food to keep all the dish fresh and full for the next customers.
Toilets were very well kept nice and clean too.
Went there Thursday evening with a party of 9, very accommodating as original booking was for 8, moved another table to seat all.
very friendly staff and very clean inside. the food was all fresh and very warm to hot, you can clearly see all the cooking being done. Large selection of food to choose from.
already looking to go back again for another sitting.
All the Staff were very polite and helpful and kept the tables clean as you were finishing your plates.
As anticipated for a Chinese buffet, the food was enjoyable, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, promptly preparing fresh items if any buffet trays were empty.
For those who express dissatisfaction with their experience, I suggest taking a moment to survey the offerings before committing to it. Similar to purchasing a car, most buffet restaurants allow patrons the opportunity to look if they like the offering. Not rocket science and they did not force you to eat there.
With menu items including prawns, squid, and duck, and considering the recent increase in food prices, a charge of £20++ per person seems reasonable in my opinion.
Great selection of lovely Chinese food, and a comfortable, clean restaurant, with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. The sushi and desserts weren't the best, but it didn't matter to me because there was more than enough choice of Chinese starters and mains. My husband and son enjoyed it too. We'll definitely go again.
