Staying in the area for one night so thought after reading the reviews we would give this place a try and we were not disappointed! We picked up but they do offer delivery. Son was a big fan of the salt and pepper chips and spring rolls, the beef & black pepper was really good, had a nice kick of heat to it.
Delivery driver done us a solid tonight, top guy. Broken down on a random road had to phone and explain the situation, driver phoned very quickly after to find out exact location, and before you know it we are eating some of the best quality chinese food I've had in a long time, thanks everyone!

This place is fantastic! We lived in Leith for years and tried all the local Chinese restaurants there, moving to Dollar I can honestly say Lee's is the best I've had, suprisingly. Try the Kung Po Chicken, it's great. Lovely people and a top chef, support local! Free prawn crackers if you spend over £25 too ????
I have been using this chinese restaurant for home delivery for the last few months , we stay in Tillicoultry so there is a distance involved.
My experience is as follows, they answer their telephone promptly, very well mannered on the telephone ,take your order advice you the cost and delivery time.
The food is always delivered within the time they suggest always warm and delivered by a friendly delivery driver,,the food is excellent no complaints ,if you have not tried them ,try them next time.
Excellent food. We are staying in the area and decided on this place for a take away. The food was great very fresh and tasty. They will be seeing me every time I visit dollar. I really can’t fault the place.
First time we tried Lee’s was on a wet, miserable night driving home and I’m glad we stopped when we did. Quite simply it’s the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had in years. The place is spotless, the service quick and efficient and the food sublime - the crispy, shredded beef was perfect and there was plenty of chicken in the chicken fried rice. I’ll definitely be back ????
Typing Dollar Chinese into Google hoping for a menu usually results in the exchange rate. Fortunately for us pictures of the menu can be viewed on their Facebook page. The food is good but for reference it's not as good as the Cotton House. The price is reasonable and the staff speak perfect English. Lee's offer delivery but I've never had to use it because I'm only a 5 min walk away. One thing that I don't understand is why they close on a Tuesday. That said a few of the local Chinese takeaways are also closed on a Tuesday. One thing of note is the size of chicken pieces used in their Salt and Pepper chicken. It's smaller that the standard size you'd expect to see with Sweet and Sour chicken for example. I've no doubt it's still the same amount of chicken in total but I'd prefer the larger size because it retains its succulent texture better.
