Visited on the 26/03. Generally the food was good but the chips were dismal, probably been hanging around for a while very dry and inedible. We would not usually order chips from a Chinese takeaway but we had our granddaughter round and we ended up having to go out again to get her something else. Really didn't expect them to be so bad.
Food was very good. I guess i hit them at a busy time as had 3/4 hour wait.
( enough time to visit the Badgers Arms)
However the food was very tasy & worth the wait
Food is great, service can be a bit slow, particularly if you are trying to phone in your order - phone was left to continually ring as they were too busy in the kitchen.
Great little family run takeaway. Be patient when ordering by phone as they only have one line. I have used this place for over 10 years and never had a bad meal. Gets very busy at weekends but this is a sign of a good takeaway. You would worry if it was empty.
Fantastic service. The staff are very pleasant and I really love the food. I have travelled and eaten chinese food in different countries and the food here at this restaurant compares very favourably. The food here is well prepared, well cooked and the flavours are awesome. Always happy to recommend this place to visitors and newcomers.

The first time I order here it was great
This time took well over an hour and a half.
I ordered my wife Thai Red Curry and got a normal that she didn't like.
For many years, a restaurant in Kingsthorpe called the hung lamb or something was the worst Chinese I’d ever eaten. This was worse, I threw most of it away.
The sauce was salty beyond belief and had the consistency of jelly. It was impossible to taste much else.
Things in batter within the sauce had the texture of slugs. Things in batter not in sauce were just soggy.
Unfortunately, there was lots of everything.
