£7.10 WOW WHAT A LOVELY TREAT, The fish was battered , lots of pieces, flavoured with JOY. i had chips with mine,£7.60 , but Wow was it worth it, homemade chips made with potatoes ( NOT these oven baked hollow ones )
The food is great. It's just a shame that it is still in the dark ages with their approach to card payments.
Despite bing in the 21st century, they are still cash only (I assume it's a tax dodge?). This wouldn't be too bad but there are no cash machines nearby, so to order from here you either need cash or to make an extra journey into the town centre to a cash machine.
If they sorted this out they would probably be the best Chinese in town. Not everybody mistrusts "cashless payments" and a lot of people like the convenience that card payments offer!
The salt and pepper chips are amazing, I've tried them from every chippy in, and around the area and these are the best. I'll be sure to return and try some of their Chinese meals, especially on the lunch special menu.

A really lovely hotel in a beautiful town , I stop often and staff are really friendly and helpful , the rooms are spotless and beds comfy which is not always the case with hotels , as for the food , not a huge menu but what they do is exceptional . Definitely worth a stay .

Best gravy in glossop. Chips are mostly good. Sweet and sour chicken is spot on.
