Best KPortal Reviews
Specialized in home made Dim sum and others steamed recipes this restaurant offers fresh and delicious food for more than 20 years in the neighborhood
Incredible selection of teas
Very small but homey
Service is welcoming and friendly
The most authentic dimsum place I know in Geneva! Reasonably priced menu with a wide selection of both dimsum and tea.
It has limited tables so make sure to book ahead of time! Also, they only accept cash, no credit card. Visit with cash. For a good number of dishes with dessert, my partner and I paid CHF 80.00 for two persons—worth every penny! ????????????????
There is a huge selection of tea. Tea was very good, dim sum was not bad. I love their scallop dumplings, pork dumplings, crispy spring rolls and salad. The Vietnamese rice rolls and pan fried chive dumplings were not bad. The pork buns were good. The sticky rice in lotus leave was a bit dry. The place is small. So if you go off hours, you can enjoy the tranqillness and the tea!
Behind the quirkiness of being a tea specialist restaurant, the experience was less than desirable.
Cramped up to the max, where is your need to go to the bathroom, you will have to ask at least 3 tables of strangers to move so you can get there.
Food arrives in burst, without any specific order.. making me think that the kitchen is utterly disorganized, as they also ask you to pre-order dessert?
Staff is not the friendliest either, throwing dishes at you and not really taking time with you to talk about the selection of teas they have, which is a bit counterproductive for a restaurant that specializes in tea.
If you like Chinese tea, this is the place for it. Very wide selection of tea you'll never be bored. Food wise, dim sum is alright nothing too impressive and there are better place for that in Geneva. Ambience is very interesting with lots of tea pots and bamboo as decor. However I find it a bit too dark in the place to see what we're eating.
