Pause par hasard sur la route via Limoges. Ce café anglais caché dans une ruelle du centre vaut le détour, il faudrait l'annoncer dès l'entrée du village car sur cette route guère d'endroits pour bien manger et à un prix très raisonnable.De plus accueil chaleureux, bonne quiche et tourte aux rognons ,la pâte maison est très légère et savoureuse.Super choix de dessert, j'ai adoré l'Apple pie, pommes fondantes ,pâte fine un délice ! Et café moulu pour l'expresso.Bref on reviendra !

Had pie chips & gravy, the pie looked great but was dissapointed when cut into and the top flopped as not enough filling, the filling only half filled the pie so an air gap between filling & pastry top. Priced great but would rather pay double a pie to have filling packed full. Bought egg custards to take away as my fave up north in uk unfortunately very dissappointing, nothing like an egg custard as I know it, pastry too thin, not enough nutmeg and custard deffo french custard not uk custard

Fabulous Steak & Ale pie, chips and beans for me. Chicken pie chips and mushy peas for Gill. Friendly staff, great service. Covid compliant. Very nice indeed.
