Ordered lightly battered fish and normal.fish and chips, hardly any fish in both all batter on lightly battered and chips were really dried won't go again utterly disgusting
Really nice. Food was hot and good portion sizes. We had chips, steak and kidney pudding and gravy x2 and a scollop all just under £10 and have no complaints at all and we will definitely be going back! Thankyou for a lovely meal
Go every Friday, great food, friendly staff. Never have to wait more than 10 mins. Prices are very reasonable. If i could give more stars, i would.
Great fish and chip shop, with very helpful staff
Disappointed. Chips had just been sat for ages . Agree that is good size portions , but it can't be hard to make chips crispy and nice , rather than sad clumped together packet of disappointment.
It's not the best chippy in Ashton, but it is the closest. I don't think I've ever finished a portion of chips from Lam's. They're always really dry and the curry doesn't save them.
Decent portion sizes, but the taste is lacking.

Ordered 2 fish for collection so i didn't have to wait. On arriving saw a guy leaving with one of my fish while the other sat in the hot cupboard. Had to wait for my second while the other dried out under the lights. Not at all impressed with that kinda service. Hope you enjoy your dried out 1 star :)
