I've known Ian over 25 years, and he's always looked after our animals.
Sadly, in June we had to say goodbye to our dear cat after his illness. Ian was kindness itself, professional and understanding. Excellent vet, pleasant practice and very reasonable prices.
With every single one of my pets he has over the years shown compassion , care and total respect ! His daughter is amazing too and I cannot recommend this vet ! He’s not money first before I treat ! The best !!!!

My regular vet was unavailable and I contacted this surgery to see if they would see my sick dog, despite being registered elsewhere. I was worried this might be a problem, but they couldnt have been more helpful. Thankfully looking after my very sick dog was more important than anything else.
My dog injured himself while on holiday. I rang Laird vets. They got him in very quickly. He had an operation. They are a wonderful team. So helpful and caring. I can highly recommend.

Our field spaniel, Barney was in agony, shaking with pain and unable to use his back legs. After spending half of day trying to get our usual vet to come to see Barney, we called Ian for help in desperation. We never met Ian before and we were relieved and humbled to see this gentleman going out of his way showing so much care to our injured pet! Within an hour Barney was having all necessary interventions and Ian and his team worked until late at night to save him.
Within two weeks Barney made a full recovery. It goes without saying that we changed vets!
There are no words to describe how grateful we are for Ian’s kindness and dedication!
Ian is an outstanding professional and a true gentleman! Highly recommended!
