Thought i wud try here as never used before and will never use again chips soggy full of grease fish was soggy and dripping in grease. That was awful for what they charge. Its in bin
Never in the history of mankind has a chip shop achieved the standard of culinary expertise that we experienced last night. The locally sourced black pudding supper was astoundingly black and deeply fried, dripping with the most exquisite fish flavoured golden vegetable oil. The pizza crunch was sublime and exceeded expectations. The chips - organic - were hand cut and cooked to perfection.
Guy in the shop is a cheeky arrogant b@st@rd. Just gave my wife a totally burnt pizza and when she politely told him the kids wont eat it he snatched it off her and told her to get out. Customer service at its best. Avoid
I use this chippy quite alot as its literally 5 mins walk from my house and everytime its always been spot on. The staff are lovely especially the wee man who I think owns it. I've been 2 the blue lagoon in Glasgow City Centre and it was rotten but heres totally different.
On two separate ocassions I have ordered a soft cooked chicken. I would suggest either a change of chef or re-training. Got away with it twice nor a third time.
Daylight robbery charged £8 for 2 rolls and chips.
