Delightful local Italian place with homely comfort food and the best Tiramisu I've ever had. We enjoy the food and wine as much as we enjoy talking to the owner. Definitely try this if you're in the Hammersmith/Ravenscourt Park area!
Every time I walk into this place, it feels like stepping into my grandpa’s home. The cozy ambiance, the welcoming atmosphere – it all reminds me of the warmth and care I'd find at my grandparents' house. Sure, it's not your fancy fine dining spot, but that's not the point. Here, you're treated like family, just like your grandparents would look after you.
And let's talk about the food. It's like a taste of home on every plate. Each dish is comforting and familiar, just like a meal cooked by grandma. But the standout? The garlic bread. It's simply the best I've ever had.
So, come by, enjoy the meal, and be kind. Because in this place, it's not just about the food – it's about feeling at home and being surrounded by love
Really tasty pizza’s! Visited here on our last stay in London and glad we did. Friendly owner. Only downside lacks a bit of atmosphere but all good otherwise
To be fair, we were not supposed to be in this area, but our little boy was getting really tired and hungry. We turned our head and had a feeling about this place . The tenant looked like family to us, so that was obvious we would stop by and really, we had great pizzas and he made us feel like at home in no time ! The tenant speaks multiple languages, real napolitan, my wife was very pleased to speak italian with him ! If we would live in the area, that would clearly be our spot !
This was the nicest calzone I can remember having - bar none. Totally delicious.
My daughter was similarly impressed with her margherita + olives.
Tiramisu lived up to the expectations created by other reviews.
Absolutely delightful all round experience to discover on a wet Monday evening - extremely grateful to have discovered this absolute gem.
One of my favourite local spots in the Hammersmith/Brackenbury area, the owner is an absolute delight, the food is amazing, amazing portion sizes and did I mention that Tiramisu that brings me back every time! The pizzas are also amazingly authentic and lovely!
Please give the lovely owner a try:) It’s down to earth and just good!
A great little pizzeria. All hand made in front of you. Still run and cooked by the 70 year old owner. A must for everyone visiting the area if you want proper pizza.
Amazing food - authentic Italian.
I ate here about 5-6 years ago when stopping at the hotel next door. I stumbled across it again after driving down the wrong road (how fortuitous!)
The same old salty Italian chef (owner?) is still there, still as miserable as last time BUT boy can he cook!!
The bolognaise is as good as i remembered it, and one of the most flavoursome I've had in a good while.
If i had one criticism would be the portion size - clearly you get more by ordering it to take away - but it doesn't take away how good this food is.
I've had to leave this review, so i can find my way back here - i don't want to leave it too so long until next time!!
