This is a truly splendid restaurant. The owner pours his heart into the food and makes you feel like the most important customer in the world. He made a real fuss of me for my birthday. The kids loved to chat to him about his recipes. The food was absolutely excellent. We had lamb, a steak and a couple of pasta dishes, all were amazing. I loved when he said he'd made a little side salad for us and it was a meal in itself with beetroot and radishes and a lovely balsamic dressing. We've walked past this place a hundred times on the way to church street but never again.. from now on this our Italian restaurant of choice!
Fantastic! Better than any Italian on Church street. The owner makes you feel as if you were in Italy, he will take your order then cook you your food bespoke! I cannot say how good his cooking is, taste and secret recipes. Exactly what you want in an Italian.
Local gem, glad we tried it here! shared some starters, a pasta main, and the tiramisu dessert was fab - everything cooked fresh to order in the open kitchen, tasted good, great hospitality, and had a shot of amaretto with the bill!
Absolutely marvellous, what a gem. Excellent hospitality, fantastic cocktails, and the most delicious tiramisu. Very highly recommended. We will be back!
Tonight my friend and I had dinner and what an amazing experience it was!! Rubik (the owner) made all of our food fresh from scratch, and brought us some homemade desert on the house. He sat with us and talked to us when we asked him to, and even put on the England/Scotland game too! Amazing restaurant with great value for money. Definitely best Italian pasta in Twickenham.
Went to Topolli for the first time last night and had such a fantastic evening. The food was incredible! We shared starter plates (brie wedges, aubergine dip, greek sausage) and couldn't stop eating them. The aubergine dip in particular was outstanding. I was actually worried I may have overdone it, but I had no problems completely finishing my main... I got steak with potatoes, beans and spinach. The sirloin steak was the best I have ever had and the potatoes and veg were beautifully cooked too. Was absolutely stuffed, but got some tiramisu to split between four of us as we couldn't leave without trying a dessert here. I'm normally not a big coffee fan, but i've never had tiramisu like this before - so light and subtle. Food aside, the atmosphere inside Topolli was wonderful - so relaxing and the service was excellent. I'm already thinking about when I can go back!
Great service, great food, great drinks. I highly recommend. The owner is the Chef and everything is cooked from scratch. The owner goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you have an incredible dining experience.
Fantastically good restaurant with some absolutely incredible flavours! Went after a trip to the rugby - just a short walk away and none of the crowds. What an unbelievable find! Group of 4 of us all had pasta and all of us were incredibly impressed. We then had the freshest, most delightful tiramisu I've ever eaten for dessert. To top it off, the welcome we got and the hospitality was superb. Thanks so much for having us! Will 100% be back!
