Second time coming here and I got no words to describe the food and prompt service. Absolutely amazing from start to finish.
Carrot juice was very refreshing and the shashuka is a must have.
JALIL does it again! I forgot to ask the name of the lady that served us but she was also amazing. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.
And again I took the liberty of parking on the double yellows outside the shop, just keep an eye out for parking attendants if you do so.
I've been on the hunt for a halal full English breakfast in Birmingham, and La Brioche on Moseley Road caught my attention. The restaurant was bustling, and I was hopeful for a satisfying meal. The food, though, lived up to expectations—delicious, served promptly, and the place was spotless.
However, despite a friendly waiter, our special egg request wasn't fulfilled. Kudos to the staff for offering a replacement. The tea didn't quite meet expectations, but the real disappointment was the cakes—they weren't as fresh as their reputation suggests.
While the prices were reasonable, the portion sizes left something to be desired. In the end, La Brioche earns a 3.5 out of 5 for its mixed performance.
Absolutely loved the prompt service, the calm atmosphere and the food.
JALIL is the main man!
Coming from London I’ve been looking for a brunch spot as good as the ones we have in London and I think I have finally found one.
Will definitely be back again.
Parking would be an issue on a working day but because it was Sunday I parked on double yellows outside the shop.
This place is incredible. From the consistently great food, to the mouth watering fresh selection of French patisseries. I recommend this place for any time, it's a hidden gem.
The hot food served at La Brioche is delicious and perfectly served every time. This place has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
My only critic would be the freshness of the desserts. Thrice requested and once disappointed with the desserts we ordered. From my experience, the cake desserts are delicious, however the more creamy, mousse dessert was a little on yesterday's side.
Another pointer is that I only like my tea brewed in a teapot.... and I like to pour my own tea. My request for a teapot for one was granted... and I was given a tiny little pot which poured out to barely fill my cup. The staff member kindly offered to refill the pot with hot water, but the brew never is the same... second time around.
All in all, despite the little flaws... I love a place that works for the satisfaction of their customers and that care about the quality they serve. La Brioche does and I'd recommend it.
such a cute café, the kitchen closes at 2:30pm on sunday (unsure about other days) but their coffee is amazing. Highly recommend shakshuka!
I absolutely love this cafe. All food are fresh and they have a big mix between arabian and western food.
The full breakfast is so delicious and cooked well. The pastry is baked at the cafe which is a huge plus for me.
The customer service is so professional. Definitely will be going back there soon.
Yum. Came here for a quick dessert in the afternoon and enjoyed my visit. Karak chai was good and the cakes were divine. Superb flavours. Great ambience and staff were friendly. Definitely recommend visiting for your sweet temptations.
