We booked this restaurant for a Friday night. It's located up a small side street in the heart of Abergavenny. The decor is very authentic and the place had a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Our drinks order was taken quickly and delivered promptly. We ordered a starter and main course. The kitchen is upstairs and a chime goes when the food is ready for service. The meals were very good with large portions. Food was very tasty and well presented. The pricing was also very reasonable. The only reason I gave it a 3 and not a 4 is because the Brie was slightly cold at the thicker end and in the middle, but that was our only fault. Would recommend and go again.
This is the real Italian deal. Delicious and classy food, superb service, classy setting and all for very democratic prices. This restaurant is a must-eat when you're in the neighbourhood.
We have been to this Italian restaurant a number of times, and have had a lovely meal. I would recommend it to anyone. The surroundings are lovely, and the atmosphere is lovely as well.
The staff are extremely friendly, but I don't think they like it when you stay too late, so just keep that in mind, but overall we had a really good night.

Just had very nice girls lunch here. Menu was v fishy but they agreed to do plain grilled chicken for my fussy teen. No pizza here or pinit grigio. However the portions were plentiful. Price high end for lunch. £60 for 3 & only one of us was drinking! (1 course each plus sides)
Really love this place. we visited a few years back and loved the homemade food. Tonight we had 2 courses for £11.99. Excellent value and delicious. The food is the most authentic Italian food...not 'Britalian'. Tonight I had my favourite Mellanzane alla Parmigiana.. which was as delicious as any I have eaten in Italy. The restaurant has a lovely outside eating area and a cosy inside. The staff were superb. They are off the main street but really worth visiting. Will definatley return, simply lovely food!
Great service and amazing food.
We were the only people in the restaurant the night we ate there and we received the best service around. It was a little pricy yet it was worth it for the size of the dishes.
Food was excellent very tasty. Partners food was even tastier.
Only one small complaint is the room was a little cold when staff did not close the door.
Forth meal and everyone a winner. Will be back.
