Lovely family run Italian restaurant, well established with typlical Italian menu as you’d expect plus daily specials. Prices are very reasonable.
Service is fantastic
Heavy rain and bad traffic in Chingford one weekday evening brought us to the door of La Baita...and we've been doing a bit of an Italian restaurant tour in the local area recently so we thought why not!
Just based on this one visit - La Baita beats all the other Italian restaurants we've been to in Wanstead, Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell, Loughton and Snaresbrook combined. We're definitely coming back.
Fresh food, really attentive staff, a great menu an interesting specials board and a friendly family run atmosphere.
Lovely local Italian restaurant with good service and great food. Good choice of pasta and pizza dishes, together with starters and desserts along with a number of specials from the blackboard. Good value for money and good size portions. First time here for me and will definitely be returning. Booking recommended as very busy mid week.

1st Class Service, staff but above all the menu, the food was superb
Went here with my family, celebrating hubby’’s birthday. It was our first time, not sure why we hadn’t been before as it is very local to us. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was first class. Will definitely go back ????
I and my partner were looking to dine in a traditional Italian Restaurant and we found this “ little gem” in Chingford ????
It was Friday night and we forgot to book a table. We went to Nostrano Restaurant, but were refused so we came here, and I’m glad we did. We were greeted by very polite and friendly gentleman and given a table ( restaurant was very busy) without booking.
Food was absolutely delicious and fresh. I loved my Tiramisu ???? Service was great and attentive. Prices were also good.
All in all, we had a lovely evening and were fully satisfied with everything.
We definitely will be coming back and I am going to recommend
LA BAITA DA PIERO to my family and friends.
