Great fish and chips, great fish fillet sandwiches for lunch. The owner (Kurt) is obviously passionate about his craft. I have no idea which fish and chip shop Josh Francis is referring to in his review!

Where do I even begin? The moment I walked in I could smell an unusual aroma from the fish and the batter looked like a puffer fish from finding nemo. The shop could only fit about 2 people and the owner kept giving me death stares for looking at the drinks. Once I bought the fish and chips he aggressively asked me “salt and vinegar mate” which startled me more than my morning alarm and he didn’t even apologise. Once I had a bite of that fish I felt like I was in a different world of utter disgracefullnes. My face unlocked new muscle twitches I didn’t even know were possible and I puked like child having sprouts for the first time. The chips were cold and the curry sauce looked like it was sat in New York for a few days. Will not be coming again. Ketchup is the only decent item but even that gave me multiple headaches. ????

As we were on holiday we decided to have fish and chips one night. A quick scan of the reviews and we decided on Kurt's of Bingley - and we weren't disappointed. All the food was excellent - especially the haddock. It was not at all greasy and had probably the thinnest crispy batter we have ever had. And the chips weren't bad either.

We were staying about 10 minutes away in Eldwick & wanted to try Fish and Chips so we went to Kurt’s from recommendation. We ordered for around 8 people & portion sizes were perfect, service was so quick and staff were very friendly and talkative. So glad we came here & would highly recommend to other visitors & even locals who haven’t been before!

Absolutely delicious fish and chips very good portions

Fantastic quality oldskool portions at oldskool prices. I prefer slightly chunkier chips and the mushy peas were slightly runny, but these are personal preferences and certainly don't detract from very tasty, very generous very good value fish & chips. Highly recommended.

I went their on a Friday night and I was greeted by my good friend Tom who served me wonderfully and the food was wonderful

Heard good things about this F&C shop. Called in at lunch, lovely quality fish and chips that were lovely and brown, not pale as many are. Recommended.
