Best KPortal Reviews

Just discovered this place. Absolutely delicious everything cooked to perfection and succulent. Clean and friendly service and reasonable price to feed a whole family. We would highly recommend cannot fault it at all. Will be going again in the future with friends and family.
Amazing food, everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Very welcoming and quick service. 0 complaints.
Had a delightful meal at Kulan. The Suqaar with rice took me back to Hooyo’s kitchen with its authentic taste – it was packed with flavor, hearty, and comforting. The best part is that It tastes like a splurge but at a price that’s kind to your wallet. It’s the sort of satisfying dish that leaves you with a smile, complimented by the warm service that makes you feel right at home.
The best food I have tasted in the East London area & hands down the best Somali food in London. I am a regular and always get the lamb shoulder & beef steak. I just tried the chicken leg for the first time yesterday & I think it's my new favourite. The portion sizes are great, I never leave feeling hungry. The staff are welcoming and friendly & the service of food to the table is quick. The restaurant is clean inside and very well run. If it's your first time eating Somali food you have to try Banana with the rice!
Very nice place, basement seating is a good quiet, private option. The food was GREAT! The lamb and beef was so nicely cooked, soft, tender, flavoursome, meat was coming off the bone, grill chicken was also really nice and full of flavour.
I hosted a party for 20+ people at kulan, staff were amazing and super accommodating throughout the whole time. decoration for the event space was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Food was amazing with great generous portion sizes, everyone had positive comments. Overall 10/10 would recommend this restaurant to everyone and will definitely come again.
Came from out of town to visit earlier after seeing an online recommendation of the best Somali restaurant's in London and it didn't definitely dissapoint. Immediatetly noticed the nice interior decor and clean premises then ordered the haniid with rice (bariis in Somali), where the service was quick and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The haniid was soft and succelent as expected from Somali restaurant's, and the flavours for it as well as the rice was really nice, complimented by raisins, onions and vegetables. Will definitely be back for another time to one of the best Somali restaurant's in London, lets go champs
Where should I start.. the food is dry and over cooked the staff are absolutely ridiculous they have no manners they are not professional. They do not welcome you into the restaurant they sit there on there phones. It's more like a Somalian house than a restaurant the tables are dirty the cutlery have dry food stains on them. They do not respect there customers when they are eating they scream at one another across the room. They reply WHAT rather than pardon. Since Ramadan they have become greedy and put the prices up for the menu since then there restaurant has been quite. I would be ashamed to even think about bring my family here. The toilets are revolting water is everywhere on the floor to the seat. The Somalian ladies that cook in the restaurant give you dirty looks. I would not want to imagine what happens in the kitchen. There Hygiene has gone out the window the food will come quicker out your bum then it will in your mouth.
Unfortunately I won't be returning again. I would avoid going to this particular restaurant I give 0 stars
