As far as motorway service stations go, a really pleasant spot.
Nice cafe with good food and drinks, and some good kids meal options & deal too.
Spacious and welcoming layout, which seems more calm than your average stop. Nice calm shop with plenty of nice things to buy too, from the chocolate bar to the butcher and deli, or the home wares, everything seemed really nice.
Nice outdoor space, with a small kids play park, and a nice little pond to walk around too.
Really fabulous farm shop. Wide offer of choices. Something for everyone to enjoy.
The meat counter is incredible ????
The staff are super friendly and helpful.
Will definitely stop here another time.
I was very surprised and disappointed that
in the main walkway between counters, tasty good looking cakes in the majority were not covered.
Surely this cannot be, after Covid 19, I would have thought all food should be covered from the general dust, coughs and sneezes.
I had seen the the same displays in the groups TebayServices, Cumbria outlet, in December 2022.
I love my cakes, but would certainly not try these.
Good place to rest, have a nibbles. More pure vegetarian & vegan options would be great.
Loved it. Everything we expected & more. Will definitely drop in again when passing. Completely other end of the spectrum from the usual "fast food" services.
Amazing, all motorway services should follow this model. The entire experience is totally different to other services. You don't need to walk all the way through to get to the loos which are lovely and clean. The hot food is really good and actually good value, kids eat for a quid on lunch and dinner. Then there is the farm shop, this shop has so many high quality things. The fresh bread and cakes are amazing and then there is the butchers as well. Need a gift there's lots of great things for everyone.
I was walking off to rest and eat out. It’s very friendly, very hygienic and service good foods. Impressive - toilets room is very clean and not smell.
Breads are delicious but disappointed it’s not cover but I do not mind. Any veggies, fruits and sweets thing are very good.
All spirits are very crazy expensive…..
This was the second time visiting, farm shop is nice, toilets cleaned to a very basic standard. Coffee is actually very nice but food?! Same as the last time - the wraps that were supposed to be hot were actually barely warm on the outside and very cold inside. Absolutely disappointing for what you are paying! Not eating here again. At least the coffee was nice...
